As Global Head of Social Business and Microfinance, Claudia Belli-Jeanteur is in charge of reinforcing the links created between BNP Paribas and the social enterprise ecosystem as well as meeting the rapidly-expanding needs of microfinance institutions (MFI) both in mature markets and low income countries. This program “Act for Impact” is part of the Social and Sustainable Finance strategy for BNP Paribas, it is now developed for 1500 Social Entreprises, Social Business and Tech For Good in 7 countries through impact investments or lending for a total amount of 1200 m Euro.
She joined BNP Paribas in 1991 where she started as coverage analyst dedicated to Media and Dairy industries, she continued with Corporate Finance, followed by several roles in the Export Finance department of CIB before becoming Head of Export Finance for the Asia-Pacific region in 2008 and Head of Business Development for the Export Finance in 2013. In September 2014 she joined Corporate Social Responsibility with her current role..
Before ,she had several experiences in B-to-B marketing, real estate intermediary and Radio DJ in the Italian Dolomites. An Italian and French national, Claudia is a graduate of BOCCONI University in Milan and holds a CEMS Master’s from HEC School of Management in Jouy-en-Josas, France.
Claudia is also board member of the European MIcrofinance Platform, (e-MFP) promoting European investment into MFI in the emerging countries and of the Impact Invest Lab a French NGO propoting the social Impact Bonds in France
