Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia – an opportunity for social investment

EVPA is entering into 5-year partnership with the EU Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) to support social entrepreneurship development in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia (EaP countries and Russia). We have already engaged with several countries in that region and are slowly developing strong presence through our membership base. At this session the speakers will share the latest developments in the social investment ecosystem in some of the EaP countries and also on their efforts to develop first VP/SI funds. You will be surprised to hear on how much is already going on there, despite seemingly difficult social and political circumstances. The participants are looking forward to hear your advice and recommendations on how to grow the investors for impact community in those countries. Join the session to learn and explore opportunities for your engagement in the region, that offers opportunities for high social returns in the impact investing space.
