Times are expected to get increasingly difficult in the near future and corporate philanthropy can and must optimise its contribution to foster social resilience through more partnerships (including with public authorities) and more co-investment. Easy in theoretical terms, difficult to embed in the company’s strategy and even more challenging to convert into daily practice. The acceleration of this move, though requiring deep changes, would lead Corporations not only to become game changers but also strong shields against the crisis.
