EVPA will ensure that all appropriate measures, as set by the Portuguese health authorities, are respected.
Arriving into Portugal
We advise all attendees to check the Visit Portugal website before travelling to Portugal.
Currently, the protocols for individuals flying into Portugal require a valid EU Digital Covid Certificate, or a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued by a third country under reciprocal conditions with Portugal, or the completion of an RT-PCR test (or similar NAAT test) 72 hours before boarding, or of a Rapid Antigen Test 48 hours before boarding.
All passengers need to (individually) fill in a Passenger Locator Card before departure to Portugal, or on board, at https://portugalcleanandsafe.pt/en/passenger-locator-card.
Information regarding certain jurisdictions with different protocols is detailed here.
Currently, the EU Digital Covid Certificate and a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued by a third country, under reciprocal conditions, from the below countries, will be accepted as an approved vaccine certificate for entry into Portugal and into the event.
- Faroe Islands
- North Macedonia
- San Marino
- United Kingdom
- The Vatican
Where none of these certificates can be provided, the attendee must provide evidence of a valid negative PCR or antigen test, which will only remain valid for 72 hours or 48 hours respectively.
To access the venue, all attendees will need photo identification and:
- an EU Digital Covid Certificate; or
- a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued by a third country, under reciprocal conditions with Portugal: Albania, Andorra, Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Israel, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Morocco, Monaco, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, San Marino, Turkey, United Kingdom, Ukraine, The Vatican; or
- a valid negative PCR test from within the last 72 hours; or
- a valid negative antigen test from within the last 48 hours. Negative antigen tests must be presented with electronic or printed proof containing the attendee’s name and date of validity.
The registration desk will have a team validating vaccine certificates or negative test results.
Attendees with none of the above will be refused entry until either a valid certificate or a valid negative Covid test is presented.
We will offer attendees additional antigen self-tests on both days of the events for those who wish to use them.
All attendees will be required to wear masks indoors and outdoors within the event venue.
The only exception is attendees eating or drinking, and those speaking on stage, performing on camera, or broadcasting interviews.
We will ensure we respect the maximum capacity of the venue, i.e. 150 people maximum.
We will introduce one-way traffic flows for attendees where appropriate and in-line with Portuguese health guidelines. These will be in place at venue entrance and exit.
Hygiene and cleaning
There will be sanitising gel available throughout the venue. Ventilation will be in place, and we will ensure all attendees are provided with a clean and hygienic environment for networking.
After the event
It is recommended that, during the 14 days following the event, all attendees follow public health guidelines while guaranteeing additional precautionary measures and avoiding contact with vulnerable people.
